We spent three days at Yellow Aloe as a couple. Previous reviews have already said everything positive and encouraging about the accommodation. We agree with all of them 100%. Particularly worth mentioning is the friendliness of the staff and the extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere in the adjacent garden, which was designed with great attention to detail. You feel completely at home. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. We can give it a 100% recommendation. On a future stay in the region, we will definitely book Yellow Aloe again.

Unbelievable wonderful garden - you could sit all day without leaving the place. Great breakfast and - in case you don‘t go for the limited dinner options in town - a very good dinner prepared by Joseph. The rooms are spacious in an old renovated long house. Two pools - we had one on our own to relax and drink a bottle of wine. You sit there in the morning watching sunbirds rooming around, look into the garden, drink a cappuccino and enjoy the breakfast- how can a day start any better?

What a stunning oasis in Clanwilliam! The hosts were very friendly, and accommodating, and Joseph an absolute gem. Being able to sit outside and enjoy the garden was a treat. And in summer I am sure the swimming pools would be most welcome. We made use of the lounge for drinks, and the kitchen had all we needed for our snacks. The breakfast was amazing and the highlight of both mornings was the freshly squeezed orange juice.

Quirky property with an amazing garden. We stayed in the longhouse (early 1800’s) , very spacious room with comfortable bed. Felt very secure. Breakfast was superb - served at your table on the porch or in the garden. Plenty of shops and a few restaurants, which Michel helped us with. The Sevilla Rock art trail is a must - truly awe-inspiring. Had a guided heritage walk and visit to the little museum - fascinated stuff.

Cute property and gorgeous flowers around the property and also cost and homely environment.Host were really helpful recommending us so many places to go around. Staffs were nice and helpful too. My wife is a vegan but there was no vegan options at all so we bought something from spar nearby and sorry I forgot the name but the guy who served us at the breakfast happily prepared them for us. I highly recommend.

The owners and their staff were very welcoming and attentive. We appreciated that dinner was arranged for us despite us arriving quite late without having made dinner arrangements beforehand. The cottage with adjoining rooms for us and our youngish children worked perfectly. Youngest enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was delicious. The garden is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful. We loved our short stay.

Beautiful gardens nice atmosphere. Rooms done nicely, breakfast was very tasty and they had cappuccinos on the menu.

Michel & Cheryl were lovely hosts. The room was clean and comfortable, a little bit dark inside but that is because of the build of the old property. The garden was like an Aladdin's cave, lots of quirky ornaments dotted here and there and beautiful plants, it was lovely and peaceful. Joseph looked after us and served delicious breakfasts which were on the terrace overlooking the garden. Cheryl also suggested we went to 'The Sevilla Rock Art trail' and we thoroughly enjoyed it, a stunning drive and a lovely walk. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful gardens - a little oasis . Cheryl, Joseph and the Team were charming, friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The setting is peaceful and has many features for quiet time and also 2 swimming pools for convenience. The many water features attract a wide variety of beautiful birds. We had a wonderful stay.
